Keeping Lexmark up to date

Before we became WWMcloud customers, we had no established partner we would turn to for our events. We stored some equipment for smaller events here and there and worked with different trade show booth construction companies for the big shows. Lexmark – ein IT-company with a large sales management

The IT company’s centralized marketing department uses myWWM to manage trade show equipment. Primarily, equipment and materials are used for trade shows or dealer, customer, or in-house events. To always provide the latest trade show systems to 80 sales employees, centralized marketing signs into myWWM to order required systems and graphics, including relevant logistics. The modular design of WWM’s portable exhibits allows for a new combination of trade show components each time, based on available maps of the booth layout.

Keeping Lexmark up to date: Add another Blue Angel, please

Images on retractable banners and trade show displays change with every new marketing campaign of a company. At the latest after two or three years, the graphics from any ad campaign are ripe for a big makeover. But what if you want to be (or have to be) much more up to date and other factors require a faster graphics change than you would like? Regarding Lexmark, we found a really individual solution to this challenge.

Present sustainable and consistent

Lexmark attachs great importance to environmentally friendly products. Much products of lexmark are awarded with the "Blue angel" - upward trend. This issues should become apparent in the company communication and in marketing actions. To keep up with the growing number of "blue angels", we create a cost saving and expenditure saving method.

Not print but glue

The original campaign images were produced with a set number of Blue Angel labels. Whenever there was a new Blue Angel to be put onto the exhibit, we glued it to the graphics instead of printing completely new images. A repeated graphics change to update all systems would have simply been too expensive, meaning the cost-benefit ratio would have been too low. Thanks to our individual solution, we were able to realize the customer's ideas while the products always displayed the correct number of environmental labels.

Outsourcing of the storage management

These course of action is possible, because Lexmark storage each system and graphic in our central service Hub in Alsdorf. So our logistic manager can make sure that each motive is up-to-date. If the equipment would store in a peripheral strorage, the central makreting get no chance to controll, if all graphics are up-to-date. So the WWM cloud guaranteed a consistent brand performance on exhibits and events.
