Recyclable displays at DAY ONE from ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions

Press release from 13.01.2014

On January 13, 2014 the ThyssenKrupp Group merged three plant engineering companies into a new company, ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions. With around 19,000 employees, the newly created ThyssenKrupp business area is one of the world's leading plant engineering companies. The company celebrated its official first day on the market with the DAY ONE campaign, where employees and management were able to show: "Yes, I'm in and I'm going with you on this journey!"

Recyclable displays to DAY ONE

Emily Benecke, Manager for Brand & Customer Communications at ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions, organized the DAY ONE in Dortmund and chose displays from the Exponative series for various reasons: Identical, easy and quick to set up displays were needed at the company's various locations, from Hamburg, Beckum, Dortmund and Essen to St. Ingbert-Rohrbach, Ennigerloh and Bad Soden. The displays from the Exponative series met the requirements and, printed with individual motifs, were delivered to their place of use at the desired time by WWM's shipping service.

An important requirement for the material was that it should offer employees at DAY ONE the opportunity to show that they are part of the new company by signing their name on the display. WWM's recyclable cardboard displays provided the perfect surface for this. Some displays even became "living communication islands" where employees left comments and questions for management.
