WWM, GFC and Project A invest in store2be

Press release from 14.07.2016

store2be is the online booking platform for offline action spaces. The company thus offers companies and brands efficient, measurable and scalable live communication in the offline world. Today, the company announces its first round of financing amounting to a high six-figure sum. The investor round consists of Dr. Christian Coppeneur-Gülz (WWM), Oliver Samwer (Global Founders Capital), Florian Heinemann (Project A) and Dr. Adrian Kiehn (Perikles Ventures).

The mission of the four founders is to enable target-group-specific, measurable and scalable live communication on flexibly bookable campaign spaces. Live communication describes the direct dialog with potential customers as part of offline promotions or sales campaigns. The more than 1,000 action areas with guaranteed customer frequency that can be booked on store2be are located in shopping centers, retail stores (store-in-store), fitness studios, airports, universities, cinemas and at events - depending on where a company can best reach its target group.

store2be's customers include online companies such as AMORELIE, GLOSSYBOX or PETS DELI, which want to activate new customer groups and strengthen their own brand through temporary offline locations. Consumer goods manufacturers who are looking for direct contact with their end customers or want to carry out promotional campaigns also use store2be for short-term appearances at promotional areas. What makes store2be special is the data-based integration of live communication into the marketing mix (omnichannel marketing). By analyzing customer frequencies and lengths of stay, store2be makes live communication measurable. "Due to its low transaction costs, store2be offers advertisers the opportunity to include offline action spaces in their regular marketing mix and evaluate them on the basis of uniform KPIs. We generally see great potential in linking digital and offline marketing, and store2be's solution represents a very promising approach here," said Dr. Florian Heinemann, founder and managing director at Project A Ventures. "In an increasingly digital world, offline communication is once again and increasingly gaining in importance. In both B2B and B2C segments, live communication is the most effective driver for building a business relationship (which is later maintained digitally). The strategic investment in store2be enables us to offer our customers not only the leading online platform for the planning and execution of trade fairs and events (myWWM), but with store2be also direct access to over 1,000 action areas for live marketing measures. The investment thus underlines WWM's vision of being able to carry out offline marketing measures with the same simplicity, scalability and, above all, measurability that we are used to in online marketing," says Dr. Christian Coppeneur-Gülz, Managing Director of WWM.
